For the second year in a row, we have hosted our special Home Run Derby Showcase sponsor by Easton Sports, Brett Helmer and Armando Acosta. The winner of the Police Softball.com Home Run Derby goes Head to Head against Brett Helmer. Helmer is coming back with a 1-0 record against our fellow law enforcement officers in last years showcase derby. Will this years new crowned winner Eric Moltzen of the Folsom-Sac JCats be Helmers next victim? Helmer was first up hitting 15 Home Runs with only 7 Outs. Helmer was in his zone big time! They had to stop Helmer or he would have been their hitting bombs all night! Eric Moltzen only finished with 1 HR with only 8 Outs. Better luck next time. So this now brings Helmer 2 vs. Law Enforcement Officers O. Also a special congrats to NoCals A1 Towing / Hardcor the 2009 Police Softball World Series Champions and the Ohio Lawmen finishing in 2nd place. What a great 2009 LEO season.
