		<description>Well, you could always switch to another position (for softball) so you can focus on hitting and not pitching. I mean, generally speaking, pitchers aren&#039;t suppose to be good hitters anyway, but if you want to please your mom and become a better hitter at least, you might consider switching positions.

As far as volleyball goes, it doesn&#039;t matter if the previous starters haven&#039;t graduated, just out perform them if you want to play. If you don&#039;t want to play just say so. This way you can tell your mom that you can fulfill your softball expectations because you&#039;ll have more time to focus on softball. On the other hand, you can tell your mom that you&#039;re the best you&#039;ll ever be and still focus on softball.

I get that you like volleyball, but just not as much as softball. And seeing as you&#039;re a pitcher, you need to practice all year.
