If you don’t know the positions, check them out here: :]

I was just curious, since I need to pick a position to strive for, if you were playing softball, what position would you want?
I’m not sure what position I would want yet. I originally wanted to do catcher, but I heard they squat a lot, plus it’s a really dependent position (all are dependent, truly). In addition to that, I don’t think they give major rules to eighth graders, since the team consists of ninth and eighth graders. So I guess there goes pitcher as well? I was considering outfield, but I’m afraid I might not be able to throw the ball that far.

well i play 1st base and left field. 1st base is really great because you get to make other people look amazing and the same time you look amazing. and left field is really great becuase the ball is hit there the most often, and if you’re afraid you can’t throw that far, then your cut off will just move out farther. good luck!!

Well, i played 1,2,3, and right but i like 1st base more. It’s a good base to play on. Being a catcher is really hard for a beginner, trust me. I didn’t last 2 innings before my coach pulled me out.
