Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Softball team 2009!!!
I made a video of the team during our travels, however i wasn’t able to really get videos of us playing because that would be hard for me…playing and recording, I’m pretty sure coach would get mad at me for doing so. Anyway, sorry the video is so long, I took a lot of videos and felt they should all be in the movie

2009 Little League softball world champions WRALL

The 2009 Little League softball world champions got a huge welcome home Thursday night.

The WRALL team arrived in Atlanta just before 8p.m. and then boarded a bus with a police escort down 1-75 to Warner Robins.

The team pulled into Flint Energies Field where the community welcomed them with signs, music, cheering and fireworks. They rolled into their home turf as sports stars, but got a welcome like rock stars.

“I didn’t expect it to be this big. I still can’t believe it. It’s amazing,” said Kelly Warner from the team.

Hundreds of people gathered to greet the girls when they hopped off their bus.

“It makes me feel really good that we have people behind us supporting us that would come here and be all here for us,” said player Melissa Cox.

Each one of the players was recognized on stage for their part in such an incredible season.

“It was just a great feeling and everything’s been so great,” said Carson Carriker.

“We’re all overwhelmed, so excited, we couldn’t believe it. This is the biggest welcome we could’ve ever expected,” said mother Stacy Stella, who traveled with the team.

All 5 California Girls Basketball State Championships & Nike Faster To 1st Softball Tournament

We have highlights from all 5 of the California girls basketball state championships in Bakersfield, CA on March 26th and 27th along with Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Minnesota & New York! We also start our spring coverage with the Nike Faster-To-1st Softball tournmament in Huntington Beach, CA where Ayala took home the victory.

Watch as Crystal just about hits the camera with the ball. Then, she takes a ball in the face. After all of that, she won a medal in the end for the best player that game.

Her team lost, but it doesn’t matter to us. We are just proud to be watching her play.
