I played baseball up through high school and I had to play with the guys which wasnt a bad thing (there were some hotties yo:P) I would have liked to have avoided controversy though and have played with other girls or hope that the country would not have been so predjudice. Why was softball created? Why dont we just have womens baseball and mens baseball? Its like that with all the other sports. What happened back then? Baseball is my first love and I like to pitch and I know one thing ya cant throw a slider with a softball.
I hope one day soon women can play baseball in colleges and high schools and professionaly like the womens basketball.I’m a guy and I would definetley watch hot girls play my favorite sport which is baseball.

Because most women claim to being ‘delicate’, even when it comes to sports, so the ones they participate in tend to get scaled down to factor this in. Even in things like golf, where their tee off is closer to the hole then the men’s.
Of course, this isn’t true about women, as you well know, but the myth was so profoundly perpetuated by women for such a long time that it still mostly remains. Hopefully women like you will help to dispel it. Personally, I’m rather tired of women given the status of being so weak.

You do have a valid point because fast pitch softball is just about the same and has a great following.
I watched the women’s College Tournament in last year being 2006 and it was awesome!!
I think the NCAA believes that women’s baseball would not get the overall support it needs in general and that women are currently happy with fast pitch softball.

I completely agree with you. I started playing baseball when i was 9 years old and i could pitch and hit with the best of them. The high school coach in my town said that if i would have stayed there i could have been his starting pitcher .. but i moved to brooklyn and i had to start playing softball .. at first i was cautious about it because i thought all the girls would be delicate and fairy like .. but they weren’t and i had to say even i was shocked .. i thought i was the only girl that was a huge competitor .. i mean i am an animal in anything and everything i do .. and these girls opened me into a whole new world of fastpitch softball .. and i think that if women would have had to play baseball we would always be compared to men .. you kno "Oh they can’t play baseball like Derek Jeter or Albert Pujols" .. but the guys can’t play softball like girls can .. I don’t know if you get what im saying .. but it’s like we made it our own. Softball is "our" sport.
