Hi. I'm a pitcher in high school girls fast pitch. I think it is a fairly easy sport. You have to practice a lot to get good, But it's really fun.

You answered your own question.

Softball is harder than it looks (no pun intended). Fast pitch softball especially so.

It’s easy compared to baseball, but it’s not that easy, in my opinion.

In order to run you hace to hit the ball which you said is not easy. Also, throwing a softball is not easy unless you are strong in your arms and have big hands. So softball is not easy.
