If you want tips on how to hit the best thing I can tell you is just relax. Take a deep breath and watch the ball as it comes to you then follow through with a level swing. I know easier said than done. You can also do "soft toss". It's where you toss the ball in front of you and try to hit it. It's good for build handing and eye coordination.
