i heard that girls wear cups but i dont know if there boy cups that girls put on or if there special girl cups?and the other thing is im only a 32 A and somtimes B (depends on were its from) but yeah am i to small for a sports bra or should i go buy one? so do i need any of those? ladies please
No, you don’t need a cup to play softball. I do reccommend wearing a sports bra, but you don’t have to. I play softball year round and I wear both regular and sport bras when I play. The only difference between the both when you’re playing is the comfort. What you do need for softball is sliders though, so make sure you wear those. Hope this helps

You should if just give you extra support

I have never heard of girls wearing cups in softball. As for the bra thing, you don’t need a sports bra, but it helps a lot. It keeps you in while you run around and is easy to move in. You can wear an under wire bra but those care a little more uncomfortable and if you are moving a lot and it gets out of place then it can be a little distracting. I would go for the sports bra and I don’t think you are too small for one. I’m almost the same size and I have one.

You can use a sports bra if you want, but your about the same size as me and I never really felt like I "needed" it. As far as the cup, I used to catch and they tried to get me to get one (fastpitch softball). Actually, in a few instances, I wouldnt have minded one being there and they do make female ones, but in general, you dont need one. Even if youre a catcher.

cup- not really
sports bra- most likely

it depends on what position you play. if you a pitcher or an outfielder, or someplace that involves a lot of movement, a sports bra is the best. if you catcher and you don’t need so much support because the chest protector is holding them down also.

Regardless of how big or small you are in the chest a sports bra in a very good idea. When you run as you do in softball they move more then normal. The sports bra would lessen the movement so that the muscles holding your breasts don’t get strecthed more then necessary. I haven’t heard of girls wearing cups but I know that they are out there. One thing that I have seen that is becoming big is a face mask for infielders. Pitchers mostly wear them more then anyone else since they seem to be the ones in the line of fire. These mask looks like the mask on the batting helmets without the hard shell of the batting helmet.
When I was watching the Little League World Series softball all of the infielders had on these masks. Guess its a requirement when playing in Little League these days. These was a 12 and U age group that I was watching.
