    ok a softball is …
ok a softball is about twice as big as a baseball and is bright yellow, a baseball is so much harder to see because it smaller and white, i guarantee if they have some softball pitcher come in and try to hit a 95 mph fastball they wont even touch it and boarderfever is right, the only way to make it fair is to have a softball player try to his a baseball and a baseball player try and his a softball

  2. CENSOREDFORSEX says:

Move her to 60 feet …
Move her to 60 feet 6 inches like the big boys and she would get CRUSHED.

  3. BlueGiraffeWhale says:

    This is stupid
    Sure …

    This is stupid
Sure it is hard to hit a baseball going fast but they also forgot the movement
they should have compared the movement of a baseball and a softball
You can throw 95 mph but if you have no movement on your pitches your going to rocked.
Not saying softball is easy or anything
softball is just as hard as baseball but this test is really dumb

  4. Kurzgan says:

    LOL Listen to all …
LOL Listen to all of you HAHA

  5. boarderfever says:

    to make the tests …
to make the tests fair you gotta get jennie to pitch from 60 feet 6 inches. get a “pro” softball player to hit Adam Jorgensons fastball. To see if softball really is better then baseball.

  6. robert33182 says:

    um… that kid …
um… that kid wishes he throws as fast as zumaya! And second of all get me a softball batter to face zumaya and we’ll see whos talking.

  7. aml082024 says:

    They should’ve …
They should’ve brought in a pro softball player also to make the tests fair. No matter the results baseball is the better sport, there is no MLS.

  8. bman231 says:

I dont no if the …
I dont no if the results are accurate because the diamond back player never saw a whip pitch before its totally different he has seen the fast pitch though get somebody who has seen whip pitch try and hit off her

  9. pookiepower2 says:

    since they have MLB …
since they have MLB and we have pro softball that is on at like 4am for one day out of a month.

even College baseball coaches have said that softball is very hard and they give respect to the girls and any people who compete in it. im not saying i want to keep arguing which sport is better because you guys will never listen so please stop dissing the sport and learn how to respect a female athlete.

  10. pookiepower2 says:

    give her some …
give her some credit. softball is just as difficult as baseball. its not an easy sport. and im definately not saying baseball isnt hard. but i mean come on. they proved it so accept it. im annoyed with all these high egos of you baseball players. Girls who play fastpitch and especially olympic athletes deserve some credit. we work our off and dont get nearly enough respect as baseball players do

  11. pookiepower2 says:

    suck it up boys. …
suck it up boys. ive been playing fastpitch softball and club for so many years. its pathetic how even after they scientifically prove that it’s harder to hit a softball that you guys are still complaining. i think it’s HILARIOUS how you guys say that girls could not hit a baseball if thrown to us. i’ve hit baseballs plenty of times solidly along with other competative softball players.

  12. drummer1388 says:

    I agree. They …
I agree. They should also have a softball batter try to hit the baseball. guarantee she would not hit the baseball. they are basically having somebody try a sport they dont play and when they dont succeed they think its because the sports are harder, not that they r different. BTW it was so slanted

  13. TrutherD1 says:

    Check this. …
Check this. There’s a secret aerosol program going on worldwide causing thick overcast every day! It’s chemicals. I filmed it myself (my chan). Search for “chemtrails”, “Dont talk about the weather”, “Endgame HQ”. We need to wake up and wake others to stop this!

  14. mpfeifferrocks says:

Suck it up boys a …
Suck it up boys a softball is harder to hit, stop making lame excuses

  15. morrisworldwide says:

    The first 3 minutes …
The first 3 minutes say it all – SHE BROKE THE MACHINE!! That college boy, after seeing that, probably broke his cup!

  16. milam69 says:

    Minor leaguer, …
Minor leaguer, major leaguer, what have you. Either way, he’s been trained his entire life to hit a baseball thrown over-hand. Now if he’d been trained his whole life to hit a softball thrown under-hand then he would probably be able to hit a softball just as well as he currently hits a baseball. I’m not saying I know truly which is harder to hit, but, as a baseball player, I think this expirement was extremely slanted.

  17. DD200790 says:

    wudnt mind throwing …
wudnt mind throwing my bals at her ;)

  18. 0211775646 says:

    Fuck Jennie Finch, …
Jennie Finch, how about you get the New Zealand Mens World Champion softball pitcher in there. Show that little girl how to really pitch

  19. TheGermanPuma says:

    I wanna see a …
I wanna see a softball player hit off a mlb pitcher lol strikeout!!!!

  20. airplouffe86 says:

    first of all, i …
first of all, i agree that the angle alone is harder to hit for a baseball player….

    however

    1. the bat makes a HUGE difference

    2. there are major league pitchers that throw from that angle

    3. This player would eventually succeed playing with an aluminum softball bat and playing on a softball field

    4. A softball player using a WOOD bat on a BASEBALL field would not succeed ever

so…hitting a baseball is still the hardest thing to do in sports

  21. rhythm61 says:

    A softball comes …
A softball comes from a different angle, reaches the plate faster, and is harder to see than a hardball, especially for a taller player. A hardball player will be tuned to react to certain visual cues and any player will have trouble with pitches that act differently than expected. This comes from a former bad softball and hardball pitcher in my youth who would sometimes get reprimanded for using pitches that were not smiled upon, but they were fun! See folly floater and eephus pitches.

  22. rhythm61 says:

    Jennie Finch is da …
Jennie Finch is da bomb, however, this is an apples and oranges test.
Softballs are heavier and are thrown from a shorter distance and lower height.
Speed makes the ball harder to touch, not force. The force could make it more difficult to control, not get the bat to the ball. This video did not give the force generated by the softball either, many issues could lead to the plate breaking.

  23. rafaGonzabig10 says:

    Jennie Finch Is Hot!
    Jennie Finch Is Hot!

  24. Mariee119 says:

    It doesn’t matter. …
It doesn’t matter. Zumaya pitches just as fast as that college kid. Wouldn’t have made a difference. The fact of the matter is, is that softball pitching is a lot harder then baseball pitching, and obviously, harder to hit.

  25. Mariee119 says:

    Wooden baseball bat …
Wooden baseball bat or no wooden baseball bat. He simply couldn’t make contact. I don’t think it really matters on the bat at that point. Unless it was to heavy/long for him. But I don’t think that is the case. Either way the baseball pitcher pitched FASTER then Jennie. They were simply trying to proove which angle was harder to hit. They prooved it was softball. End of story.
