this year, i really want to get in shape and meet new people. i have decided that the best way to do this is by playing sports. the sports that i would like to play are: softball, basketball, soccer, and skateboarding. i think this sports are best because: all of my closest friends play softball, my best friend plays basketball, i played soccer when i was little, and my brother skateboards. Also, we have a basketball net/hoop here at home, so i could practice a lot, and we have a big field(part of our property) outside of our fenced in yard, so i could practice soccer and maybe even softball(pitching, hitting), and my brother could teach me how to skateboard more. Also, my boyfriend and his friends are skateboarders and so is one of my best friends. So, my question is: do you this i could pull it off/ do you think that these are good sports/ are they easy? could i learn them fast?
Thanks in advance!

Soccer isn’t that difficult. You may want to define what position you want to play though. Defenders and keepers (goalies) are hard to practice alone but offense especially sweeper areeasy to practice at home.
hmmmmmmmmmmm……………………thats for u 2 find out

It honestly depends on how young you are and what sort of physical shape you are in currently. It’s easiest to start out at a young age, because programs generally aren’t as competitive and you could get involved with a school team without a lot of background experience. You’re also probably pushing it a bit with the number of sports you’re considering. Remember, a jack of all trades is a master of none – meaning, if you try to do everything, you’re not going to be that good at everything. Try each thing for a little bit, and pick one or two sports that you like the most and stick with those.
And some general safety advice, if you want to just start out with skateboarding, it’s very dangerous if you aren’t wearing the equipment (kneepads, elbowpads, helmet – Yes, it looks dorky, but it’ll keep you from getting a concussion or needing surgery). Expect to fall down a lot, you might even break a limb, don’t try tricks right away, and get the basics mastered first.
