Fresno, Ca Armando Acosta (Founder of the Real Skilz and NSA SoCal Softball) along with Brian Gregoire (NSA NorCal Softball) hosted a Brett Helmer / Easton Real Skilz event at Granite Sports Park. Several teams came to show off their Real Skilz with one of the best provided bat promoters Armando Acosta. This HR Derby is dedicated to one of our Long Haul Bombers J.C. Phelps. Phelps was part of this years 2009 Long Haul Bombers Tour. JC, you will be missed, R.I.P., my friend! The Real Skilz HR Derby finalists are Rick Loya, Jason Stevens, Ben Beznoska, Matt Burden, Dustin Chappel, Jose Ortiz and Jon. This was one of the funniest derbies in quite some time. 1st place Jason, 2nd place Rick, 3rd place Ben and 4th place was Matt. Congratulations to all of you.
