How to stop throwing the bat in softball?

Softball is my favorite sport, but I have one small "perk." I have a bad habit of throwing the bat, and its making my team get an out. I get a warning every game. I have no clue why it’s so hard for me to hit the ball, drop it, and run. Help? Any tips are appreciated. Thanks!

Its a head thing. You have to just practice fundamentals if it is becoming so much a problem. It sounds like you are hitting and letting go of the bat all in one motion. You also lose power in your swing when you do that because you are not fully following through on your swing. Try this….put it in your head not to let go of the bat until you take a step towards first with your Front foot. This would mean your swing has stopped and it should just drop to the ground when you let go.

The baseball is nowadays almost the only ball in sport that remain white. Softball, volleyball is not anymore.?

Nope.
They’ve actually tried it before – back in the 1930′s they experimented with a yellow ball with the intention of using it for night games.
And in the 1970′s Charlie Finley, owner of the Oakland A’s, petitioned the league to change to a yellow ball (think tennis ball yellow). They did use it for some spring training games, but decided the white ball was much easier to see.

I want to try a new sport, Baseball is the one I want to try most, but my friends often say softball instead, not baseball, So, Is there any difference? the rule, or maybe the equipment, maybe?

Well Baseball and Softball are two different sports. Baseball is a more relaxed game with a slower tempo, while Softball is at a really fast tempo.

Baseball has longer fences, longer base paths, smaller ball, pitched overhand, has 9 innings(Depending on what kind of league you’re in), and is, in my mind, a whole lot harder than softball.

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Softball team 2009!!!
I made a video of the team during our travels, however i wasn’t able to really get videos of us playing because that would be hard for me…playing and recording, I’m pretty sure coach would get mad at me for doing so. Anyway, sorry the video is so long, I took a lot of videos and felt they should all be in the movie
