How do I quit volleyball?

Posted by admin on April 25th, 2010 and filed under the sport of softball | 3 Comments »

You see i’m a sophomore I used to be really good but now i don’t know maybe since i’ve gotten hurt so many times and was out for a while i just have gotten worse. any ways my mom doesn’t want me to play anymore because 1. my coach is an *ss and 2. she wants me to focus on my main sport softball. i don’t enjoy it anymore i don’t like it at all, i dread practices and games all the time. my coach is…a d!ck like you have no idea he plays favorites and he’s horrible. i don’t like it anymore and it wouldn’t be a good idea because i almost tore a bunch of ligaments in my knee because of it last year so my doctor doesn’t want me to play. how should i quit? it won’t be easy telling my coach or anyone.

Get your mother and talk/ call the coach after school and tell him/her that you don’t think it’s best that you should play anymore.. Pretty simple.

I told my wrestling coach that my parents made me quit the team because my grades were failing.

How to become Student Council President?

Posted by admin on April 23rd, 2010 and filed under the sport of softball | 7 Comments »

Well I’m 13,in 7th grade, and there is this one girl in my class who gets straight As and is very snobby.I think people are starting to see straight through her finally.Anyways, the reason I am bringing up this girl is because she has been President of the class since 4th Grade. Not to mention, she’s considered "popular"..because everyone praises her as a result to her grades. It’s not only Hollywood that the pretty, tall, skinny, girl is popular, but unfortunately,it is reality. As in this case, her face is covered in acne, always looks greasy and she does nothing to her hair. Not that looks matter, but I’m just trying to put a point that she is only praised for her academics;I have always been 2nd behind her shadow. And nearing the end of 7th grade you run for student council for the coming year.So we will be in 8th grade. As of right now,I am Vice President of my class room.Of course, she is president. This year, I want to break that clique result and run for president.I have been told I am very friendly,I have friends from all grades. And I have no enemies.(That I know of.) I dont start drama and dont gossip.Im an honor student.I have participated in sports.Softball my favorite. All around,I have been called an excellent student.I have enough confidence that I can guide the school in decision I will be making.Every decision I make will have my school as my number one priority.I have asked my really close friends from other grades who’d they vote for and they said definitely me and that they’d get others to also:) I want to defeat this girl.To show her that she is not superior to everyone else. This yearning to defeat is not for my own pleasure, but for the all of my other classmates that have also been behind her shawdow.
*And plus;My mum wants me to run :-)
So can someone please give me some tips on what to do,say, things like that? Please and Thank You<3
I am as popular as she is.
Yet I’m always 2nd.

Elections are a populatirty contest, never forget that

What is your opinion on this? Do I have a food problem?

Posted by admin on April 21st, 2010 and filed under the sport of softball | 2 Comments »

I think I might have a food problem but I don’t want to ask professionals because it might not be that serious. I do eat don’t get me wrong just I use to be able to eat tons and tons of food like example I could eat a whole pizza by myself now I can’t even eat more than 2 pieces. Also the sight of food instantly makes me loss my appetite. Like I’d be starving then i will have the cooked food in front of me and I’ll have to kinda force myself to take a bite and finish it.

I’m not overweight. I’m actually at a healthy weight. My BMI is 23.4. Also I am 6ft and 172 1/2 Ibs. (Which isn’t fat, it’s actually muscle. Because I do play two sports.) Softball and Basketball.

What is your opinion on this situation?

I think that you need to speak with a dietician and find out if your digetive enzymes are out of whack. But..

But it sounds like you suspect the problem is emotional or mental, in which case you need to keep a journal of what is going on in your life and how you are eating during these times to help you better understand the nature of it.

Don’t automatically assume a doctor is going to fix something only you can confront.

what type of girl described sounds prettier? guys, which would you date?

Posted by admin on April 19th, 2010 and filed under the sport of softball | 18 Comments »

Girl 1:

Long Brown hair. Naturally curly, but looks really nice straight aswell. Olive pale-ish skin in winter, tan in summer. Short & skinny. (5′2, 93pounds). Almond brown eyes. Oval face. Hourglass figure, so very petite, not big curves but still some. never any acne, but sometimes a pimple here and there. Italian. Full plump lips. Athletic in a girly way, ballet and figureskater. Flaws: Big nose and a little bossy with personality but very outgoing.

Girl 2:
Irish but no freckles. Short and skinny aswell. Very pale skin with pinkish tint. Some acne, can be bad sometimes but never cystic or too bad. Dirty blonde hair that sits right above the shoulders, wavy. Hazel eyes almond shaped. Heart shaped face. Not athletic at all. Flaws: Oily skin, shy but can be mean so that might be a turn-on for guys. Very clingy to boyfriends and overprotective, and ruler shape, not too many curves, so small boobs(if you consider that a flaw…..)

Girl 3;
Tall and curvy. (5′9 and 135lbs). Red kinky hair. Medium length. Close set eyes. Very strong, physically wise and personality wise. very sassy also. Good at almost all sports. softball, baseball, football, ect but still dresses and can act like a lady[: ..Very funny. Flaws: Needs a little makeup, as opposed to girls 1 and 2 who dont need makeup at all and are still beautiful.. and hair needs to be maintained in the morning…..or else

which ever one you are :)

how to deal with this? ive been the ‘mom’ since i was 10?

Posted by admin on April 17th, 2010 and filed under the sport of softball | 2 Comments »

my parents separated when i was 10 years old and were legally divorced when i was 11, my mom needs help bc she has a back problem which i understand and im willing to help however, being that i live only with my mom, im starting to realize more and more that im doing more then helping

i make the grocery or target lists, i cook all the meals, i do all of my chores (cleaning the kitchen, family room, my room, and basement bathroom), i do all my sisters chores (cleaning livingroom, laundry, upstairs bathroom), i take care of my familys 3 puppies (2 of which r unpotty trained, and only 1 out of the 3 is mine), because i do all this ive had to drop out of school and go online (i left at the end of seventh grade) i dropped my sports (softball and floor hockey tht i loved) i quit my voice lessons and im missing church (to get confirmed) i also babysit my older sis bc she has autism (not severe)

im only 14 and idk what to do im worn out and i cant b the mom anymore my mom leans on me all the time and i have no one to lean on, what do i do??

tell your mom that you are feeling the pressure of carrying the family, and that you need to seek help from somewhere.

then, go and talk to someone at your Church. there will be many people willing to help you – and your mom – out. all you need to do is take that first step. it is a hard first step for someone who is so used to being the problem-solver, and the person who helps other people. but you are too young to take on so many grown up responsibilities if it means giving up on the things you love.

take that first step, you are worth it.

Hi, please just bear with an insecure girl and her issues?

Posted by admin on April 16th, 2010 and filed under the sport of softball | 2 Comments »

Okay, so, sorry that I’m being one of those girls who ask whether they are fat or not on this site. I really am, but normally I have to put up a confident front when dealing with people face to face and when I get online in an anonymous setting, I just let the insecurity out.
So, does this sound fat?
height 5′ 11 3/4" – 6′
weight 179 (I’m 3 lbs overweight, but I went to my doctor and apparently it’s muscle mass)
bust: 41.8
waist: 30.5
hips: 41.9
thighs: 24.2
upper arm: 12.5

I play sports (softball on a varsity level, volleyball on a JV) so I do have muscle tone, but it’s not VERY noticeable.
I am bipolar and I did have major depression issues and binge eating problems at while ago but I’ve been cleared up for those two, but it kind of explains the insecurity and the weight and extra flab, haha. Sorry that I’m insecure, but I really appreciate feedback.
Oh, and the measurements are ones I had to have taken for a dress, I’m not ana or really obsessive like that.
Thanks!

Give yourself a confidence boost, you deserve it, with measurements like that. Go to http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ and put in your height & weight. You’ll see that you are "normal".

But it’s a bit out for people who are taller than average. I’m classed as overweight because I’m 6′5 & 220 lbs, even though I’ve got abs and am not particularly muscular.

So basically, substitute "normal" for "perfect" and you are spot on. Also, remember that muscle is a lot heavier than fat. The best thing to do is to take a good hard look at yourself in the mirror and realize that with measurements like that, you’re quite attractive.

Just try to enjoy your body. You’re doing great.
