My mom says that I have to do a sport , I really don’t know how to do anything for real . Softball seems easier than any other sports . So if I’m just starting out , does it seem a little too late ? Or should I try something else ? ? ?

It’s always important that you like what you’re doing before entering into it. You wont be able to improve or learn anything if your heart is not into the activity. If you really like softball it’s not too late to try-out. It’s just important that you learn all the skill necessary for softball. You must know how to catch, throw, field, bat and base run. Then you must know the several positions and their roles and lastly you must know the different game situations and know what to do when the ball is going your direction.

Im 13 and i play softball im a pitcher, 2nd baseman, and a Right Fielder.:) I say Softball (please dont be offended in anyway i mean no harm) but i dont find cheerleading as entertaining. So just a fun question.. which is better?

Softball is 10x better. I really don’t consider cheerleading a sport. They say athletes lift weights and we lift athletes, but they could barely life weights the athletes actually lift..

All biased opinions aside, which is the more difficult sport; Softball or Baseball?

I actually want some kind of supporting detail. Honestly I can understand the argument for both sides. So a little bit of factual information supporting each side would be nice to see.

Next year is my freshman year and I kind of want to do softball but ive never played before. My friend said she could help me out because she plays it. But will practicing over the summer be enough for me to play in high school. I want to be good and not the worst on the team?

First off I don’t mean to scare you if I do, but just because it has soft in the name doesn’t mean it is soft. It can be as hard as a baseball just depends on how hard it was hit. Trust me been hit by alot of pitches. Second, softball is pretty easy to learn as long as you don’t try out as a pitcher. Over the summer go to the batting cages as many times as you can. Most batting cages will have someone there who can show you how to swing a bat. Also throw with your friend as much as possible have her give you alot of ground balls and pop ups. Not just ground balls stright to you but to the sides as well. Finall, run everyday! You might not think there is alot of running involved, just wait till you get to practice, you will be running all the time. I hope this helps you.

im a softball player and i’ve noticed that softball isn’t a big sport. i want it to b!!
i love softball didn’t know what i would do without it. but yah people would ask what sport u play, and i say softball and their like smirking and i’m like wtf,,,anyways,,y yew guys think ?

Because most people equate it with the slow pitch style that a lot of drunk guys play on the weekends.

Softball, easier than basketball. You say your fast, so that means you will be ok running bases. You should practice at batting cages for hitting. Practice for softball at my school is runing around the field. Practicing fielding and hitting. Fairly easy.

Basketball, lots of running. Hard practices. Need to be good at shooting the ball. The basketball in our school is tough. They have to run around the school 4 times. Then go up and down on every football bleacher. Then run around the track.

Trust me, you’ll make at least 1 friend on any sport or sports team you will play on.

yeah rugby, idk i haven’t played sports the whole time that i’ve been in high school and im a sophomore too, so i want to play sport.
