How should I pose for my softball pictures?

Posted by admin on March 25th, 2010 and filed under is softball a sport | 3 Comments »

I want it to be funny and original.
They’re tomorrow and I can use a bat, glove, ball, etc.
It cant be obviously sexually suggestive or anything along those lines.
To sum it up: Individual Sports picture, softball, original, funny.
DETAILS and PICTURES are awesome
Sleeveless uniforms. But you’re on the right track! Thanks<3

shove the softballs up your sleeves to make you look jacked, then pose with the bat?

Can I play on a softball team or soccer team at my age without any prior experience?

Posted by admin on March 17th, 2010 and filed under is softball a sport | 1 Comment »

im 14 and i’ve never played softball or soccer before, but i really want to start a sport and those are the ones im interested in. can everyone answer a couple questions for me:
what type of experience should I need to be in a team of my age group?
do you think the coaches will help me out to learn, or will i just be known as the newbie of the sport?
is soccer more or less complicated than softball? which sport would be easier to start, and faster to learn for someone like me to go on a team of probably already experienced players?
sorry i know its a lot of questions but i really just wanna know all about these things!
also is anyone just wants to give me a website that explains the basics and all other rules of these sports, that would be pretty nice (:
thank you!

it would be really tough to join soccer or softball because most of the girls playing have been playing their entire life so you would really need to work hard to be able to compete with them or try a different sport

if you consider another sport track could be another option… a lot of people think it would be really boring like i used to but i joined it and was pleasantly surprized

is softball a hard sport?

Posted by admin on March 13th, 2010 and filed under is softball a sport | 4 Comments »

ok so im my friends want me to try out for softball and ive never played it in my life. i know nothing about it and so….is it a good idea?

I have played softball for nine years. If you try out, don’t expect to be the best one on the team. Softball takes a lot of time and practice. You can’t just one day think that you’re going to play softball and be great at it. But I think you should try it, it’s fun (:

Twins with Diabetes?

Posted by admin on March 11th, 2010 and filed under is softball a sport | 4 Comments »

I have twin girls (8 yrs old now) who we discovered ( July/2007 and Nov/2007) that they both have type I diabetis. It was a shock for us and not to mention a lot of work. It effected our marriage. We are going to therapy right now trying to improve our marriage. The kids are well taken care of no worries there. Both myself and their mother are excellent and please don’t have any concerns. They play softball/ sports. They have an older sister who loves them very much.

My question is that the cost of insulin/strips and everything else is a lot.I pay somewhere between 300-400 month and now we are thinking of getting the pump. Things are just expensive and maybe I could have afforded it with one not 2. I work and my wife does not work and she needs to take care of them. Is there any site or company or anything that would help people in my situation? Pay for some of these costs!
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

talk to the girls doctor and your insurance company. generally insurance will pay for the pump…at least mine does. if you have good insurance supplies are not that expensive. pump therapy works very well for children, and makes insulin adjustments a lot easier…especially throughout puberty. talk to your girls about it and see if they want to go on the pump. it is very much their decision. i don’t think it would be fair to your girls tho if you would only put one on the pump.
