I want to start a new unique sport?

I am 15 and i want to start a whole new and unique sport. I swam for 10 years but i am not flexible. I cant even touch my toes. i don’t want to do a regular sport like tennis, softball, basketball, soccer, or volleyball. I would love to do something like gymnastics or rhythmic gymnastics. i really love watching rhythmic gymnastics and i think it is a really beautiful sport. But i am afraid that i am too old and not the right body type: not flexible, short, but 115 pounds. im not skinny but i only weigh 115 pounds but i would like to start a sport that is good for me physically and mentally. I would like to become more flexible and i would like to be able to have nice physique. oh, and i don’t have the best posture either. But i REALLY want to try out something new.

Fencing is great for posture, it also really improves your reflexes and endurance
It has actually been proven to make you a better problem solver too

Is it a good idea to join a softball team in eighth grade?

Okay so I’m 14 and in 8th and I do volleyball but i feel that I need (and want) to do more activities. So I wanted to sign up for softball. I’ve played softball for two weeks straight in summer camp two years ago and I think maybe it might not be such a good idea to start a new sport because I’m a beginner. I know how annoying it is to have a total beginner on a 7th grade level volleyball team… help…? and maybe other cool activities….sports wise??

go for it im 13 and in 8th grade and yesterday i gave field hockey a shot kind of for the first time (tryouts iv gone to practices but never been on a team so i barlyyyy knew anything) iv played a bunch of sports but i rele loved field hockey

What is a Fun Sport For a girl?

Hey im 12 years old ,and i want a fun sport. but not basketball,or softball. I wanted to do roller derby but im way to young haha.

do something you never thought you would, for example if you are a tomboy, try dance or cheerleading. IF you are a preppy girl, (or girly girl) try ummm soccer or something outside that makes you work and run and sweat! I loveeeee basketball like alot, you never no, if you try that, it might be REALLY fun!! I get it and stuff, what dont you like about basketball? the toughness, the practice? What ever it is, you can practice and be GREAT at ANY sport ( not just bball, but cheerleading too!)
