What Is The Best Camera For Shooting Softball Pictures?

Posted by admin on January 31st, 2010 and filed under softball is the best sport | 1 Comment »

I was looking at 4 cameras:
Sony Alpha A350
Nikon D90
Nikon D80
Canon EOS Rebel XSi
And any other cameras you can recommend.

I shoot pictures for a High School Softball team and sometimes I go out and shoot other types of pictures other than sports.

Any of theses cameras will work if you got the right lens to work with it. Something say in the 70-200 F2.8 range

Have you ever wondered what goes on in the mind of a baseball or softball player? (any sport player)?

Posted by admin on January 31st, 2010 and filed under is softball a sport | 1 Comment »

The reason why i ask is because some people who are the fans tend to think differently than the players that are playing the game. cause so think that certain plays that are ran are easy but if you try to execute them they are not as easy as they seem.

I am a softball player and plays definitely look easier than they really are.I was watching the Women’s College World Series in softball and some of the plays I saw I thought they were so easy. In reality if your the players on the team a throw may look easy but you have to focus and aim correctly. The only way to understand what players do is to actually do it.

Hope this helps!

I Have an idea for a new EA Sports video game? Which should it be?

Who determines what becomes an olympic sport?

Posted by admin on January 29th, 2010 and filed under the sport of softball | 3 Comments »

Take softball and baseball for instance. They only play it in very few countries in the world. More countries even play cricket. Yet, cricket is not an olympic sport and softball and baseball is. Why?

The IOC determines which sports are in and out. And to make you feel a little better, this year is the last year that Baseball and Softball will be contested for exactly the reason you mentioned.

What is the best sport for me? I am choosing between Football and basketball, and maybe others if possible.?

I am 19, 5′8 150lbs. my bench max is 175, squat max is 315, I run a 4.75 forty. I am going into the Navy in July, I am trying to get into the Academy once I get in, or if I dont I still want to play sports. I play all sports pretty well, I didnt play any school sports but baseball (2b and C) in 9th grade. I have went down from 185 lbs to 150 lbs. to become more athletic. I am trying to choose between Football, Basketball, and maybe Baseball, Softball or something else. I want to choose the best sport for me, but have a hard time figuring out. I dont stand out in any sport really but those I named. I go to the Gym and lift 3x a week, and I run a lot, I love to run. I can catch and throw pretty good in football, but cant jump or run real fast, I am too short for QB, so. I shoot and pass well in bball, I am currently working hard on dribbling, but could only play the point guard or the 2-guard position, too short for anything else. I can throw and field the ball well in Baseball, help me!

Dude Football is out of the question unless you want to be a kicker. Baseball you could make it as first base and possibly maybe a pinch hitter. Basketball you can be a point guard or small guard but make sure that your passing is really fast, quick, accurate, and gets their on time…but it’s still your choice

do you think softball is a cool sport to play when your in 6th grade?

Posted by admin on January 29th, 2010 and filed under is softball a sport | 8 Comments »

i play softball travel and i dont know if it is a cool sport cause i no in florida if you dont play softball or baseball your not cool

Anything is cool as long as it’s legal and you enjoy it. Have fun, and don’t worry about whether or not what you like to do is cool.

What sport should I play softball or lacrosse????

Posted by admin on January 29th, 2010 and filed under the sport softball | 3 Comments »

I have played softball since I was 5 and Lacrosse since I was 11! I am 12 now… I love them both and they are in the same season!!! HELP!!!!

I personally would go with lacrosse. I’ve played both also and thought lacrosse was much more fun, I like running sports and lacrosse has more of that, which also means more action. So play lacrosse it’s just better, no doubt =]

Why is Softball not shown on the list of sports? It is the 2nd largest participation sport in the world.?

Posted by admin on January 29th, 2010 and filed under sport of softball | 3 Comments »

The largest participation sport is soccer, for those that wanted to know. Softball is a MAJOR sport world wide. I believe the only reason it was taken out of the Olympics is because no other country could take the Gold away from Team USA.
Hey! I need some answers here folks if Yahoo is ever to add Softball to their sports list!

WE NEED OUR SPORT ON THE LIST!!!!!!!

Do you consider softball a sport?

Posted by admin on January 29th, 2010 and filed under softball sport | 11 Comments »

There are so many people out there who are like, oh softball isnt even a sport you dont have to do anything! I play softball and it is a whole bunch of work. Its the same as baseball except you pitch underhand, i think that is a lot harder then overhand, and you have slappers, draggers, etc.

Also i think it is SOO stupid they took softball out of the Olympics that makes me really mad!

and please no smart allik(sp?) remarks.
A slapper is someone who normally bats on the left hand side and walks from the back to the front of the batters box while attempting to hit the ball.

A dragger is the same thing but from the right side and bunting.

heck yeah its a sport!!! some of those girls out there are butt kickers…65 mile an hour under hand is no joke…ive been struck out plenty by girls…so, yes it is 100%
